Tweak of the Week:Small Wallet

Every guy has one. Whether it’s leather, nylon, or Spiderman, every man has a wallet. I’ve tried several different wallets already, and I’ve finally found one that works for me.

I moved away from a back pocket wallet a year or 2 ago. There are numerous reports stating that thick wallets can cause back problems. Some guys have a wallet so thick that it looks like they are a book in there. I have no idea why you need that much in your wallet. I’ve realized that the bigger the container I have, the more stuff I carry.

This is the Small Wallet by Saddleback Leather in Dark Tobacco Brown (the actual color is darker than it appears on the website). Before purchasing this one, I owned a Swallet. That was one of the cooler ones I’ve owned. When I initially called the home office to order one, Rick sold me 5 for less than $25 total. I gave away a couple and kept 2.

It was a cool wallet, but I found myself having to double fold cash to keep it under the band. Not a huge deal, but it made it much thicker than I liked. I’ve been a fan of Saddleback Leather for a while, and this seemed like an inexpensive way to join the club.

I like it so far. I’ve realized that I don’t need to carry that much, so it works well for me.

    Yo Wes,

I actually use a small wallet. It was a cheap one at Target but it is actually the same color. I don’t think I’ll go back to another wallet because the smaller design doesn’t bother me as much being in my pocket all day long. Man, the little things in life do matter! See you bro!
